About Us
Porite derives its name from “Por” for porous and “ite” connoting minerals.
Over the last 70+ years, Porite has come to mean so much more to its customers than just porous metals. Yes, we still make oil impregnated bearings allowing lubricant to seep into the pores of the powder metal parts. But through constant evolution, Porite now offers a wide range of sintered metal components including traditional powder metallurgy, metal injection molding and metal foam products.
